Cebora Power Rod 1840

This machine offers a current adjustment range from 10A to 180A, giving you excellent flexibility.

• Lower amps (around 10–60A) are ideal for thinner materials and smaller electrodes.

• Higher amps (up to 180A) let you weld heavier sections and use larger rods up to Ø4.0 mm.

The Power Rod 1840 has high duty cycle performance:

• 40% @ 180A

• 60% @ 150A

• 100% @ 120A

This means at 180 amps, you can weld for 4 minutes out of 10, and at 120 amps you can weld continuously without forced cool-down. In practice, it’s built to work hard, even in demanding conditions.

PFC stands for Power Factor Correction. On the Power Rod 1840 it:

• Provides substantial energy savings

• Allows the machine to be used with a 16A (slow blow) mains fuse

• Delivers a wide tolerance on supply voltage (+15% / –20%), meaning it keeps performing even when site power isn’t perfect

In real terms, PFC means lower running costs, easier installation and more stable welding performance.
